Sony has released a new teaser video for Gran Turismo 5, featuring the game’s poster child, the all new Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG. The video looks great, especially the in-game footage, and we can’t wait to see how this looks on our high def machines.

There are also plenty of new screens and images to get any racing fan excited. You can check out the images here and watch the video below. Enjoy!

    TBH, this is pretty damn old. Even though it just came up on GT official site.

    Why did they mix real footage with game footage? I won't understand that habit.

    @4 cause the game looks that good that they can compare it with real life footage.

    @5 I hope they include the option to play music from the HDD.

    @9 If you like QoTSA then you must listen to Them Crooked Vultures (Josh Homme + Dave Grohl + Jone Paul Jones) they will put you to dance even if you hate it. I love playing GT5 Prologue listening to them.

     Have seen this pretty long before but it still looks good every single time. And @4, they do that because it is the REAL driving simulator. They want to make it look as real as possible and the best way of showing that is by putting the 2 next to each other. I think it looks pretty damn sweet :).

    What makes me even more happy is that most of friends (sadly almost all of them are Xbox360 owners so no online with them) actually believed that Forza Motorsport 3 would be better then they could ever make GT5. FM3 is an excellent game don't get me wrong, but seeing as from the demo of this game and the footage that's already available, EVERYTHING else should be just plainly bad to make FM3 the better racing game in this case imo. PS3 didn't have any really good exclusives yet but we're definitly catching up on the great exclusives list :). And if the Motion Control actually works out well, then I don't think Xbox fanboys can have a chance of saying that the PS3 just sucks or something. They can still say that the xbox has the better online qualities.

    I am really dissapointed with this title. I've played in the demo and it sucks. No fun at all. If I had an xbox fortza would be so much better. Real driving simulator? I don't recall that my car can bounce from surroundings ;d But if someone like it... then have fun :)

    @5 yes it did!

    I have both the 360 and the PS3.  I have played FM3 and the GT5 demo and Prologue.  I can say that the car models of GT5 look better to my eyes, but some of the backrounds still seem like "cut-outs".  Also, the cars handle like garbage compared to FM3.  Don't believe me?  Rent a 360 and give FM3 a spin.   GT5 will be prettier, though (it is in 1080p, right?), so I'll probably pick it up anyway as I love racing games.

     I like the game and it looks real good but what i damn hate and i sure i will not buy this game is the cars don't do any damage when you crash, why so much realism and so much tech if when you crash the car is always new, thats just dumb and takes the realism out of the game. Forza is better!!! dame shame.

    Is it just me or does GT5 look like crap? Yes the cars look pretty, but so do the ones in Forza and NFS.

    I played the demo and I could just not get passed how freakin' ugly the track was. Aside from it being no fun, because I could care less about a simulation, it was just a terrible looking game, aside from the car models.

    Does it look this way for anyone else? Or is it just me?
