Visceral Games has teased that upcoming survival horror sequel Dead Space 2 is looking ‘incredible,’ with the development team now able to shift up a gear following the release of Dante’s Inferno this week.
Speaking during a recent interview, executive producer Jonathan Knight commented: "That’s [Dead Space 2] next up for us. There’s a different executive producer on it. It’s moving into full production and the company is excited about it.”
Knight teased that the game is looking mighty fine, and observed that while not straying from its roots, the team have tweaked a few things to polish up the experience: “I’ve seen it internally, and it’s looking incredible. They have some great ideas – it’s still a space horror piece, but they’ve expanded upon the first game nicely."
Dead Space 2 is in development for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. A release date has yet to be announced.
