fvck yes! Disgaea 3 trophies are what I've been hoping for. Let's hope the US/EU trophies follow soon, then I'll go & re-buy the game & do all this cr4p over again!

Why is everything Sony touches this generation just a half-as**d attempt? Virtually every 360 game released since launch has supported acheivments on the day of release(which is why its actually a great feature), so if Sony is going to try and implement the same feature why can't they get it right?? Come on, all you have to do is copy what they're doing, and call it "trophies" instead of achievements as thats exactly what they're doing anyways. Sony needs to either force developers to implement trophies into every game at launch day, or they might as well just drop it like they did backwards compatibility.

You do realize that Trophy support wasn't even supported untill August 08 right?  There is a reason why not all of the games are being bombarded with trophy patches, and that's because said patches take time.  Even if the game is multi plat and has achievements on 360, these achievements have to be taken and recoded for PS3.  Then they have to be tested to ensure that they work(most of the time) and that they won't cause the game to crash.

It takes actual work to release a trophy patch for older games.  For newer games, pretty much all games are now supporting the feature, so I don't see what your complaint is.  Of the last 4 games that I've bought on PS3, all of them supported trophies, and in my entire "collection", only MGS4 and Disgaea 3(not anymore) didn't support them.  The fact is that even for some retro titles, devs and Sony have done a decent job so far releasing patches for older games.
