COD 4 Map pack £6.99?! Seems a bit much for three maps, was expecting for less than fiver.

psn id: gingo... i was disappointed when i saw the price for the COD4 maps so i wont be making a purchase unfortunately even though they look good

its a gd update this wk! shame its still quite poor! and the cod4 maps £7 lofao!!! geta grip sony!!!

the psn updates have been more blah then bang for a while now. sony wanted to introduce a new store to get more people to visit and see what its all about and perhaps make some purchases, well if they want to do that they need more content and variety, they say they are listening to users and thats not how it seems so far.

people are asking for more ps1 classics, more demos, perhaps music and video can make it to market later, but theres more to profit from with the ps1 classics then anything else, but the need to stop shafting the EU is about to reach critical. the EU region has been where sony has been most successful and they arent getting much for the effort besides headaches, delays and empty promises.

SCEE and their ways of treating the EU can be summed up in 1 word, pathetic. if you euros dont start to speak up, eventually sony will stop using lube and shaft you all raw.

I personally was looking forward to the CoD4 map pack, but at £7 they can keep it. I'm going to hold off for now, in the hope that the price drops in the future.

PSN ID....ReppinDaNorth21.....This is where IW falls. They released the map pack late and not only is it not free like Unreal Tournament its so close to the release of GTA4 they will probably not get as much as they would of if they released it earlier. But since Cod4 will probably see a great drop in online play soon maybe they will second guess what they did and maybe make an update.

NICE!.. this is a fairly big european update compaired to usual. Epic win that we get command & conquer, although i already have it :D

What are you all complaining about?  this a massive update with something for everyone...and £6.99 for the COD4 maps? same as it is on the 360...it's 800M$ points which is about the same...

and for the people going on about the demos and the classic games...for demos we need games that will be released soon...nothing major on the horizon that the devs have made a demo for therefore no demos...the only ones on 360 are iron man and condemned 2...and with regards to teh classic games, sony need to license them again for this kind of thing...so they can only do certain ones...in addition they need to be optimised to play on the PS3 (which includes the 40GB ones with no backwards compatibility).

There are four map for COD4 and they are excellent. So different from the other maps. Well worth the money. Plus double XP this weekend.

europeans keep whinning no matter what they get. they got a nice batch of items and all they do is keep wanting more, if there was no update (besides the cod4 maps) i wouldnt whine at all, i have enough games to satisfy me if theres no update. anyways the point is STOP WHINNING AND GO PLAY SOME RESISTANCE, CALL OF DUTY 4, GRAN TURISMO 5 PROLUGE OR ANY OTHER GAME YOU HAVE, PSN SHOULDNT KILL YOU IF ITS NOT FILLED WITH MILLIONS OF ITEMS!  GROW UP!

Oh man, they get command and conquer?!  That game was the HEAT when no one thought is was a good idea to release something like that on console.  PLEEEEEEEEASE let that be on the NA store too!  Did you know that you could link two old-school playstations with the 1st-party "i-link" calbe and play C&C PS1 games head to head (with 2 TV's)?  That's when I became a Sony fan, right there.

Another thing.  THERE ARE 4 COD4 MAPS.  This is not news.  If you can't spend roughly 2 dollars (US) a map, YOU NEED A NEW HOBBY.

A good update! Too bad the CoD4 maps are expensive IMO. Still, has I said before, I might buy them.

Anyone knows if you dont download the maps, do you still get DOUBLE EXP this weekend? Or do U have to buy the maps for the DOUBLE XP?!

Pretty disappointing update compared to the US, although, that's nothing unusual.

Anyways, just be aware that the COD4 Pack is region locked!  So you need to buy the same version as where your disc is from. (ie. UK disc is only compatible with UK Pack!).  US Pack seems to be the cheapest compared to EU.
