    PS1 to PS2 Conversion?

    I dont know if this is true or not but a friend told me you could convert a PS1 into a PS2 by taking out the guts of the PS2 and somehow puttin them into a PS1, hence giving you a PS2 in the size of a PS1. Is there any truth to this, and if there is, can anyone provide information on how to do it?
