You can view high quality ones at IGN, but i imagine the off cam one isn't going to be much better.

I'm very much looking forward to this. I've preordered the Fifth Freedom edition with the 23 inch Sam Fisher statue. Love Splinter Cell and so sad the conviction never came to PS3

Ya I'm happy as well. I read on other forums that some diehard fans from back in the day are pleased which means the stealth element should be fully integrated this time.

For THIS old diehard, the biggest thing is the Classic SvsM mode

I watched a minute or two and it looked better. I'll give it a full watch later when I have more focus to sit down and watch a video.

I'm just not sure if I can get back into it though, as the story is still really weird. The first thing I think of when I hear about this game is how even though it's after Conviction, our main character is a Sam Fisher that sounds and looks younger than he ever has and is also more agile and faster than he ever has been.

I'm afraid of picking it up mainly because as good as it may end up being, the experience I'm expecting won't match the title and it will ultimately be a disappointment. It will end up just like Hitman Absolution did, where if were a different title with a different main character it would have been much better, but instead it was off from what the title tells us it should be and so it didn't take long to trade it in. With Blacklist, I'll just feel like they're trying to force me to believe this is the same Sam Fisher from previous games when it's obviously not, and something in my head will tell me that makes the game bad.

At this point, if they would have simply created a new Splinter Cell agent I'd be fine. Or if they simply decided to go back in time so the complete change in characteristics made sense. I enjoy a good story and there is no way this one will make sense because I know there is something wrong, unless they plan to address time traveling Sam Fisher.
