Last week, Sony announced the “PlayStation E3 Experience” – a means for fans to watch the company’s E3 2014 media briefing in theaters. When the news was made official, Sony teased “a few surprise gifts” for attendees, though no information was shared specifically.

One of these goodies appears to be a Battlefield: Hardline beta code. Sony has started sending out emails – perhaps unintentionally – that state the following:

Thank you for attending the PlayStation E3 Experience. Be one of the first to live out your fantasy as a cop or criminal where you’ll hunt and raid valuts in two new game modes on the High Tension map.

Sony likely jumped the gun here, as the E3 briefing has yet to take place. But if you’ve signed up for the PlayStation E3 Experience, you should be given the opportunity to partake in Battlefield: Hardline’s beta.
