Those headphones look sexeh. "Mic muting"..Sweet :D

They'll probably be very expensive though :) With the fantastic price they've hit for the Vita you'd expect them to recoup some of that revenue via peripherals/accessories pricing.

Want that damn dock, for sure though

As a response to the low battery life the 3DS came with a docking cradle thing.
I was assuming the Vita would do the same thing :(

Oh well, I'll buy it anyway

The RRP is 2,800 yen in Japan(will probably be around $20 to $30 in the US). The cradle has the same RRP of 2,800 yen.

Fair enough, I'd definitely buy the dock for that kinda price

(Though UK gets fucked by Sony, price-wise. Hmph)
Looks a little like a walkman connection, my bet is it wont fit anything you already own. Everything about the Vita will not work with anything you own to prevent hacking. Even the battery has been locked inside to prevent hacking that way too.
Sony is definitely not known for their security... sorry. It's a matter of who and when.
It comes with both a usb cable and ac adaptor. I believe the usb cable is also how the PSVita connects to the ac adaptor, portable charger, car adaptor, etc..
I think the power cord will connect to the AC adaptor and not the USB cable. Edit* Oh I get you - USB on the other end where Vita connects. Yes I think you are right there as shown by this picture:

I think these accessories will be expensive - at least initially. I did some conversions to £'s and they come out very expensive! We can only hope in the UK retail-led discounting will lead to reduced prices.

Edit* This is a nice item. It holds 8 Vita game-cards and 2 Vita memory-cards. Seem semi-transparent as well.

This pouch also caught my eye - it has a nice finish to it:

And if anyone is interested in how the PlayStation Vita memory-cards will look like here it is:

These are roughly M2 sized.

Please let us not turn this thread into a hacking discussion (again). Let us keep on topic.

I would have liked it if Sony made two additional accessories - some PlayStation branded/bespoke designed over-the-ear headphones for better sound and comfort and also some silicone cases for protecting the Vita. Maybe there will be a third-party solution for the latter.

I read a little further and it seems the Docking Station will have multi-terminal out. What does that mean? Anyone?
What console was not hacked as long as PS3?
No Sony could've been hacked at anytime personally it all just came down to someone waking up in the morning and saying "i'm gonna hack sony".
No offense though.

edit: Let's try to keep this on track guys. :)
I want that damn docking station

Ah hence the inflated prices. I have no doubt that was a marketing choice rather tham tech.
Not marketing, it was to prevent hacking. Nothing you own will work on the Vita so you can't stick your own files on there and hack it.
BS. It's about selling accessories at higher markup than cheaper non-proprietary alternatives which they could have used. End of story.
