I joined this from back in 2007. I was 27 years old and had 3 kids. Today I am 35 and have 7 kids.

I have seen hundreds of members come and go. But what is really cool, is that there are still a few old school members posting here. Like a strange brotherly bond. PSU is just part of my daily routine. I do not think about it, I just log on.

So many things have come and gone in my life over the last 8 years, but PSU (PS3F) has always remained part of my daily routine.

I was a lot more fun back then though. I had a "Lethal's Hot Chick of the Day" thread. I was doing giveaways, and writing reviews as much as I could. Won a few awards on this forum over the years as well.

I was an SMC, Moderator, and Administrator for this forum. It is just amazing looking back at how much has happened here.

Lets hope there is another 8 years in the future!

Been here since 2006, obviously I haven't posted as much as some of you but this place always has something interesting to read. I come here almost everyday for everything playstation related and other things. Can't get enough.

Got 4 kids in 8 years, so that means another 4 in the incoming 8 years...
So at the age of 43 he'll have a house filled with 11 kids

May not be of the old PSU-batch, but I really do enjoy my stay here, happy I joined and definitely glad I can help out around PSU! :)
Jimmy, you know you're gonna have about at least another few kids!!!
I'm saying at least 4 in the next 8 years. He keeps it up he's gonna have right to fill an NFL roster. Lol

But on your point, I completely agree. When I first started coming to PSU I was just getting into college. Just a dumb 19 year old with no realization of the real world. Since then I've graduated, no kids, and have bounced around from job to job trying to find the right fit. But PSU has been there everyday along the way. Like you said, you don't think about it, it's just apart of your everyday life. This is the coolest place on the internet for me. I hope we can sustain so we can continue the big friendship we have here.

it's amazing how fast time goes when you have a 3 day vacation. Tomorrow is the start of four 11 hour days and one 12 hour day, then I get sunday off and back to work for five 12 hour days. I usually work anywhere from 55 - 75 hours a week. :/

:snicker

I remember the crazy conversations everyone was having back and forth with mental long posts trying to figure out what the PS3 was going to be like. That Hypervisor thread was insane!

I don't believe there won't be any more kids! You certainly have been a mainstay on this forum. I don't have a PS4 but I log in most days out of habit just to check on things I guess.

You're a pillar of the community for sure. Only a handful of members have given as much as you have. I hope all remains good for you and the family, and the PSU family. :)

I remember the Homebrew War, around the same time Sony removed OtherOS in a firmware update and LulzSec hacked PS3 for a month or more. That was a dark time for this place because it split a lot of people up into two sides: people who wanted to play games and hated the hackers and homebrew, which included me on that side...and people who hated Sony for removing OtherOS and sort of sympathizing with the hackers. A lot of e-friendships lost and gained.

You could say, it was our own CIVIL WAR event, just like in Marvel comics! Holy fuck I just thought of that analogy now! WOAAAAAAAAAH!

Just to be a troll and completely DERAIL the thread... :snicker

Time is a constant...

Your perception of said time is relative.

Yeah yeah. I'm such an ass. :p

In any case though... put your wee-wee away.

2005 I think I joined....(can't see on tapatalk).

Don't game as much as I used to. Only play GTA V when I can. For me this place got a bit boring with everyone leaving. I didn't mind the trolling/arguments. Gave this place a bit of humour/life and a reason to come here.

Yeah I've noticed it bigtime and even the last few weeks have been nuts, one week feels like one day at this point. I posted a thread on here back in 2005 about how fast time was flying, I'd now give up ice cream just to have that "slow" pace of life if you will. I thought it was getting out of control back then, damn!
