Anyone else having PS5 dual sense problems?

Just got the new PS controller, every time I try to use it there is an error message saying the machine is too hot… but…. Its not. It happens right when I turn it on and plug it in. Anyone know of any fixes for this problem with the new PlayStation controller on PS5?

Man, having all kinds of problems with nba 2k on PS5… mught be best to avoid altogether.

I take it the problem doesn’t occur with a previous controller?
I wouldn’t expect a controller to be the cause of overheating so ensure there’s enough airflow around the PS5. Is the PS5 horizontal or vertical? If vertical try to place it horizontal.
I would remove the covers to check for dust.
