Have they actually confirmed that it was intentional? If so then an eye for an eye.

The news reporter last night was close to tears, the state was a mess, the buildings were just.... gone.
wow they were saying its only 108 this morning. i hope they catch the ****ers who set the damn fires and burn them at a stake.
I know they have one guy in custody for one of the fires. Knowing our bloody legal system though they will probably get a six month suspended sentence. They need to catch them and dispose of them!!!!

Would appear that the govenment is handling the situation as best as they can. Hopefully Aussies can dig deep and support the poor ******s affected by this.

Do you think you could outrun fire being assisted by 80Kph winds?? Don't think they have had rain in most of the region for about 6 weeks so everything is very dry.

Its crazy though VIC is pretty much ash, and NTH QLD is underwater. Spoke with one customer in Cairns today and he was saying they were about to get hit with another 100mm.

Think Aussies must have pissed someone off!!

Well according to Rudd it would be considered mass murder. What are the punishments for that in Australia? Can they be shipped to america and put in front of a wall with people who have guns?

1KM away and you're still at home? Um why? Would take minutes for the fire to get there.

They reported that one of the fires was moving something like 150km/h. People were literally killed in their cars while fleeing but were unable to outrun it. Several towns have been completely destroyed.

As I was driving to school today, I could see smoke plumes rising from behind the mountains. Many people stay and fight for their houses but the fires are too intense and fast to be able to stop them.

The ember attacks are describe as literally raining fire. You can't beat the fires, there are 4000 firefighters mobilized to fight these fires, but with over 10 different fire fronts and the largest being over 100km long, they can only try to contain it and protect towns untill rain comes. It doesn't help since on saturday it was melbournes hottest day in history reaching 46.4 degrees celcius. The state is dry as a bone.

With the fires burning dangerous close to the town of yea, it would only take a northerly win to wipe that off the map. Many of the people from my school live in these areas. My principle lost his home, a girl in my class got a call today telling her house was gone.

These are nothing to laugh at or make fun of.

Someones going to have a guilty conscience for the rest of his/her life. Then again it was like 40+ over here in Victoria so it could have started itself..
