I didn't even realize it was a remake. Funny how we always get rehashed shows. Although I will say...

House of Card 10/10- I watched 3 episodes and was glued! Kevin Spacey is awesome in this show. I like how they do the cutaway dialogue when he turns to the camera.

Notice his initials are FU? Francis Urquhart in the British version.

The writer says this new version is darker than the original form the early 90's and that was quite dark.
Also there was only 4 episodes per series/season and 3 in total spread out over 5 years from 1990-1995.

Does most of you guys' shows have only a few episodes per season. Just wondering because I've seen a few that do. Like IT Crowd only had like 6 per season. Man i love that show!

Game of Thrones (never though I could have an addiction so strong)
Sherlock (RDJ who?, seriously, after this the movies are just mediocre at best)
Suits
Homeland
Arrow (not as good but not bad)

Gonna start watching The Walking Dead cuz its apparently really good. Really stoked to see Da Vince's Demons that airs on april 11 I believe.

Note: I consider anime and cartoons as a separate category so ;)

EDIT:
[QUOTE="sainraja, post: 6010473]No one has mentioned Firefly yet! Come on!

I'll go sit in a corner for forgetting this :(

Yes 6 seems about the average. Its all written and shot before it goes on air unlike in USA it seems like they film a few episodes air those then the writers write new episodes then they start filming again bt in the mean time we have caught up so ther is a coupe weeks gap where the show isnt aired which makes the shows last litterally a full season Also puts alot of presure on the writes I imagine.

The only exceptions are the soaps. Ths things are rarely off air.
