My brother's email linked to his psn account isnt being recognised on msn, it doesnt exist according to hotmail sign in. So I was going to change his email through account settings.

A quick google search taught me that it doesnt mess with psn stuff like trophies which is perfect. however, theres one potential problem:

Will it send an email to the old account for me to click on to verify the email change?

If so, then we're out of luck as we cant access the email account :(
So my main question is about the process of changing emails. Does it send a verification email to the old/current email address?
It'll send an confirmation E-mail to your new E-mail address.

EDIT: Although, I'm pretty sure Hotmail doesn't delete random E-mail accounts? Sure he's typing everything in right?
yeah, I've tried it too. We even double checked his psn account when it displays the email address on the log in screen, but still doesnt recognise it on msn.

EDIT: So the email change process wont need me to access his old email account, right?
Wrong password?

And no, you won't. I'm pretty sure.

EDIT: If you really want to know, I'll try it for you with mine now?
We tried the 'forgot password' function to see if we were putting the wrong password in but it still didnt recognise the email address. :(

Would be greatful if you tried :)
(+rep btw )
OK. It will send an E-mail to your old account but you don't need to view it. So it's fine to change it. :)
