COD4 online matchmaking error (33)

yeah so i just woke up this morning, booted up COD4 as usual and all of a sudden my game was frozen on "DOWNLOADING GAME SETTINGS" after a minute the screen changed and said ERROR unable to connect to Activision matchmaking (error 33), ain't been able to get online since, any ideas? cant get on to infinity ward forums atm either, they seem to be down

just try reseting your router first thats the usual thing that fixes it, if that doesnt work then i dont know whats wrong.

If the forums are down then it might some maintenance.

yeah played some uncharted 2 beta for a while and it started working again, googled it before hand and it was pretty common, quiet a lot of people been getting it ever since release, worked after a while though, thanks for ya help
