As much as I would love England to finally come away with the World Cup and I'll be cheering them on unreservedly, it will most likely come down to either Australia or India, in which case I would be cheering on India unreservedly as I'm half Indian!

Cricket's in my blood. :snicker

We aren't bad either at the moment, if NZ ever had a chance it will be this cup, I don't think we have ever had a stronger team.

I'd rate the main ones like this:

South Africa
Australia
England
New Zealand
SriLanka
India
Pakistan.
West Indies

Pakistan and Sri Lanka have both been thumped buy us in the past month, and India and England have been struggling against Australia. Sure going to be fun to watch.

What I have noticed lately with India though is that their test team has been severely lacking. I think Tendulkar retiring has hit their international team hard. To be fair though he probably was the greatest batsman to have ever lived. Having said that though India are very very dangerous in ODI's so I would rank them higher.

This is actually true - we actually look liek professionals. Unlike the last 10 or so years.

That's a better ranking though I'd still pop India above New Zealand. It's between those top 4 though on who'll get the title.

England and Sri Lanka got completely mullered but then again look at whom they were playing, two sublime ODI teams that have been on form for a while now. I can see South Africa and India thrashing Bangladesh and Pakistan too.

I so wanted Taylor from England to get that 100 he was only 2 runs away it was gutting.
Trent Boult was awesome that Sangakkara LBW and the yorkers he bowled.

That wicket he took against Thirimanne was a peach and really sparked the collapse of Sri Lanka.

No idea what the umpries were doing referring that run out to third umpire in the England match Taylor was robbed.

Zimbabwae arent lying down in this SA game.

Yup Thirimanne wicket was a great yorker. It was good to see Zimbabwe gave South Africa a really good go if they got Duminy out it would of been a different story.
Ireland doing surprisingly well.
Just came in to say "yeah", and they just lost a wicket :(
Still they don't have to panic, they are well ahead of what they require.

I just realised that UAE are in this, I never knew that they played Cricket but then it just struck me, more than half of the workforce in the UAE is Indian so I guess that doesn't surprise me. In fact most of the Canadian and American Cricket teams are made up of Indians too. :snicker

Now let's see if England can at least beat Scotland.

I'm not surprised we lost the first 2 games, they were the two hardest matches in the competition. :snicker

Well it was a close game but Sri-Lanka won it, also South Africa are in real trouble against India with the current score being 148/5 whereas India got 307/7 after 50 overs. 160 to get from 108 balls, it's going to be tough!
