Jeez both games yesterday were good, Pakistan beating South Africa really levels that pool out a bit, Ireland have a chance to take that fourth spot.

It's nice to see Pakistan beat South Africa and Ireland vs Zimbabwe was a really close match I watched some of it.

Well NZ have already got a wicket off Afghanistan. 5/1.

Also NZ and India are the only teams that are currently automatically through. I think Australia will be too at the end of today's play. I wonder if Ireland might qualify, they really have been playing well!

Edit: Make that 6/2...

We haven't been taken to a full 50 overs by any team so far, I cant see Afghanistan being the first. Could be a quick game.

Laughing at this...laughing at England actually. Other than that IM happy with my list. I think SA have been playing within themselves and I still don't rate India that much.

I'm going say Sir Lanka, Australia, NZ and India for the semis.

Although the SA SL game is a toss up who will go through.

I'm going to say Sri Lanka as well, plus India, Australia, and New Zealand. I think it's going to be either NZ or India that are going to win it though.

I just watched some the highlights of Sri-Lanka's innings on the ICC site... I think you could be right, there's not a single game SL have been playing like this in the tournament so far.

Its just bizarre and completely against anything they have been showing for the past 4 months.

Edit: I've been watching this on Sky Sports 2... this is going to be close!

24 off 14 now although in a way they only need 23 off 14 to tie and go through.

That was amazing! What a fantastic win!
How well did SA do in the field restricting the runs though.

With the way SA were fielding I thought that NZ were going to lose it, but then after seeing Steyn go down for cramp I was like "that's it, NZ will get this". I've bowled with cramp before and it's a nightmare, I'd hate to think what it's like under that pressure with 4 balls to go, and that's where I think SA may have lost it.

That drop in the previous over though, that might have lost it for them too, and I think looking at the camera he dropped it before the player collision anyway, not an easy catch to say the least but damn, the pressure!

They certainly had their chances, and they will look back on it, much like we have when we have lost games where we didn't take our chances. But man that was soooo tight, what an amazing game.
Both would have been worthy finalists.
