Ok... from what i see most people computer is unable to play it, small portion of them barely meets the minimum which will still play like crap and very little gamers is able to run it perfectly. So not worth it for one game.

Well you know how it is now. If you buy a computer today it'll be outdated by the end of the week :(
but if the game is worth getting for its content, ppl will probably just upgrade their computers

Well, actually, that isn't too bad at all, I thought it was going to be worse than this. However, the recommended is a little steep, for those who don't have a dual-core CPU and Windows Vista with DirectX 10. At least it's pretty accessible with its minimum requirements, so I'm happy.

My PC will play it, however not at max settings. To me, the story a game tells matters the most and the minimum reqs enables the game to do so with my pc.

The minimum requirements are not outrageous at least (like some games).

Hmm, well im 15 and i have just bought my 6800, and i don't want to have to buy another gfx card. Also, i dont want to have to buy a new OS, as well as a new mobo and processor (I have the AMD 3000, right on the boarder line). I want the game, but there is no way i can get it, unless i win the lottery of course. Is this game comming to the PS3?

btw, these are no way offical, just specualtion from a fansite.
Also, you do not have to have vista or DX 10, as vista is out Q1 07, while the game is slated for a Q4 06 release.
Also, from what I've read, I think it is going to be on the xbox 360 aswell, not sure about PS3.

XT is better then the GTO, I have a GTO but it's unlocked and overclocked to about the same as an XT.

My graphics card sucks (Radeon X200, it's an IGP), but my CPU meets the bare minimum (AMD 64 3000+), my RAM also meets the minimum requirements too (884MB or so).

I don't even have a DVD drive... So this game is definately not going to playable on my PC .

two things. 1st. i didnt know they made an "x200" series? u sure its not an x300? plus. the x100 series is definately not a crappy series. i used to run a 9600 pro w/ 128mb of ram. it did me well for the time i had it but trust me, x100 are not bad at all.. also did u mean AGP isntead of IGP? ive never heard of IGP.

and dont say u cant play the game, all u need to do is rip your retail copy of the game that you so generously paid for ( ) to your buddies computer as an iso image (or some other common image format) and have him send it to you over the net, and then you could just mount the image using daemon tools or alcohol120%.

I believe when he says "IGP" he means the intergrated graphics. In other words, it's embedded on the mobo. He probably has an open graphics port which he could easily get a substantial upgrade from for ~$100 or less. DVD-Drive??? Com'on the read-only drives have got to be only like $15-20 bucks now. :p

I built my comp like a year ago and other then the duel core processor (amd 64 currently single cpu) I meet the recommended. Dont know how DX 10 will play into all of this.

Probably build a new computer anyhow no way the recommended will play that game maxed.
