Core 2 solo is single core not dual core.
Even so it is a little confusing with the words core 2 in its name.

Well spotted! but i meant the 'Dual core laptop' then listing core 2 solo.
I agree core 2 name can be confusing, but the 2 is to symbolize it is the 2nd gen of 'core' hence core 2 duo, core 2 quad.
Also, it just hit me how expensive this laptop is for a single core with 4gb ram. I got my brother an Acer brand laptop, core 2 duo with 4gb ram for £420 like 6months ago. If it did have a dual core i would still consider it bloody expensive.
