I had always heard about it, seen people reference it so many times, but I never saw it. I saw the series on Netflix, so about a month ago I finally decided to check it out to see what all the fuss was about. I sat through the first 3 episodes and wasn't overly impressed. It had some humor, and was witty, and really really weird, but overall it was meh. It really was the weirdness that got me to stick with it for another episode or two. But the Slitheen (sp?) episodes got me interested again, and the Dalek episode pulled me in. Now I'm really loving the show! I just finished the Season 4 opener last night (the Titanic one). So if this thread picks up, please use spoiler tags when necessary as I'm trying to watch an episode or two a night. :) There a lot of Doctor Who fans here?
Love it, one of my favorite shows. Also its the 50th Anniversary this year..gonna be a lot of cool stuff going on.
Oh really? That's cool. Do you know of anything they have planned as of yet? And yeah, it's become a favorite of mine as well. My wife doesn't understand it, so I usually wait for her to go to bed, then that's when I get to watch an episode or two lol. And usually 3 or 4 on weekends lol

I'm almost finished watching Dr Who. Awesome series. Though beware that in Netflix (at least in Sweden) there are a couple of episodes missing after season 4.

Planet of the Dead
The Waters of Mars
The End of Time: Parts 1 & 2

Thanks, but they have those lumped in with Season 4 here in the states. Well I know they have The End of Time episodes as the finale, so I'm pretty sure those other two episodes should be before it. It is 18 episodes long so that makes sense: the 14 and then those 4.

They are still being very tight lipped on their plans, the only thing announced so far are a series of books based on each of the Doctors and a special 60 mnute episode which is going to be broadcast in HD/3D and in some cinemas here in the UK.

As well as that there is the regular series which continues next month.

Oh alright. Yeah I keep forgetting to check if my cable provider has BBCA On Demand to see if they have the first half of Series 7. I should be caught up by the time they air if I can get the latest episodes.
