Did you notice that a lot of games are coming out just before Christmas.

1. Dead rising 2 9/28

2. NBA 2K11 10/5

3. Call of duty 11/9

4. Fallout New Vegas 10/19 theres a lot more. Why not just get them for Christmas when the prices are cheaper. Doesn't hurt to wait.

They will not be cheaper come christmas. And if by some strange chance they are, they will probably only be like $5 cheaper.

Demon's Souls,
GoW Collection,
Dragon Age Origins,
Call of Duty MW2

THose four games I got for christmas last year, only dragon age was reduced any. So "waiting for christmas" doesnt not equal lower price.

Best buy is about the only place I know that comes off of new release a good bit. They generally take 10-20 off certain games from time to time in the holiday season or offer BB Rewards bonuses. But other than that you are right on retailers realize that if a kid wants a game a parent is gonna come in and buy it regardless of price.
