Microsoft is giving away Forza Motorsport 5 free with Xbox One starting next week "at select retailers" (not included with Titanfall bundles).

Good move? To me it is basically the same as the free Titanfall but geared (no pun intended) for non-FPS gamers.

Reported by Ars:
The "limited time" offer starts on Monday, March 10, a Microsoft representative told Ars, and it only applies in the United States for the time being. The Forza offer is separate from Microsoft's previously announced Titanfall bundle, which starts March 11; new buyers will be able to get one game or the other for free, but not both. Microsoft would not provide a complete list of participating retailers, instead urging customers to "check with your local retailer for details."

MS are already packing in titanfall(The most hyped current gen i.p) for free. Now they're packing in F5...The xbone must not be selling too well.

it's definitely a good move but i think the price is still a problem. Sony tried to do the same with the PS3...give more HDD space instead of reducing the price...people would rather take the option to buy whatever they want with that extra money.
It's a nice bonus, but it isn't going to move many consoles, imo.
Agreed. Its going to take a $100 price cut to do that.

Sent from my C6506 using Tapatalk
Theyre doing what Sony did when they were trying to delay resorting to a price drop on PS3 with their "value of the bundle" motto. But also like Sony with the PS3 MS will have to do the inevitable price drop in order to get the X1 moving.
