Help Picking a Rpg

Well i will be getting some money soon and i plan on getting a Rpg. I have picked 3 that i want to get but i can only chose 1. These are the 3 that i have in mind, 1)Ar Tonelico Qoga, 2)Atelier Rorona and 3)Hyperdimension Neptunia. I leaning more towards hyperdimension but the other 2 look good also. If you played any of these let me know what you thought of them.


On a side note it's been a while since i last logged on here and it has change a bit.

Same here, haven't played any of them. Ar Tonelico Qoga seems nice, you can move freely on battles.
And if you want an old fashioned turn by turn based game, choose atelier rorona.
IDK about Hyperdimension Neptunia though.

The order you have them is how I'd rate them.

Ar Tonelico Qoga is really fun. It has a good epic story, unique battle system, great character dialog, fun characters, interesting futuristic world, good music, really great cosmosphere and great pacing.

Atelier Rorona is also fun. It has addictive alchemy gameplay, item management, simple turn-based battles, cute characters and game world, interesting and fun main character. No epic story or anything, just running the alchemy shop and completing jobs or favors for friends to get good grades and 26 different endings. The gameplay is time-based meaning you have to complete tasks within a certain am't of time(which limits dungeon exploration)

Neptunia is an Idea Factory game, with turn-based gameplay but I haven't played it yet.

Absolutely go with Ar Tonelico, it's the best RPG on ps3 other than Valkyria imo

Rorona is pretty fun too but it's not the proper epic RPG Qoga is, you should definitely consider picking it up somewhere down the line too though
