Idea of a new Show on the PSUtube channel.

So, when Sony do their new Sales, i usual spend about an hour or so going over reviews and gameplay videos to see whats worth looking at and what to leave alone.

So my idea is to create a video series that, once a new sale goes live, we go over all the titles involved and give a rundown of scores (From trusted sides, prioritize PSU Scores, leave Polygon and Shitaku out of it).

If people are thinking this is a good idea, then id be more than happy to create and edit it. Id write up a script, get some footage together from Youtube videos and screenshots and then put it up as soon as possible so people can make some educated choices.

Thoughts, my PSU Comrades?

honestly and this is just me probably...i wish someone did a twitch show. i mean, what better than to see something live and then interact. i understand it's a completely different thing and you can't easily do certain things you can do in youtube videos but i, for one, would like that more.

Id love to do that to be honest, i might have the equiptment to do it. but what i dont have is the money to buy all the sale items and showcase them all. i would LOVE to be able to do that. Perhaps with PS+ Freebies? do an hour or so of gameplay for each title ect...

Well, if im to look at doing this i need some help.

Firstly though, i have Windows 8 and the stuff i used to use doesnt work on it.

Recommended Windows 8 Movie Editor??

I used lightworks for a presentation i made a few years back....Steep as shit learning curve though! Hours of anguish for what amounted to a 5 min video.

Steep curve doesn't even begin to describe lightworks. It's drove me to insanity on several occasions. I just stick to iMovie now :lol:

I use Sony Vegas when editing and rendering video. I have to often make gameplay videos, chop and change things around, add effects and new sound effects (yay for folly), and then render it all turning my PC into something useless for the next hour. :lol:

If you make the videos I don't mind trying out production for you in my spare time. If it works it works, if not you could always try it out yourself or find someone who's much better. Would be nice to get another proper skill under my belt though.

Well the idea i have for the team is like this:

Writing and Score compiling: Myself
Naration: Myself or someone with a much better voice
Gameplay Retriver: Once we have a list of games to cover, this person will gather gameplay of each game from various sources, each source will get due credit in video discription and at end of video
Editor: Someone to put it all together
Designer: Someone to make an Intro of some sort of screen card to show the scores on, dunno if Editor is able to do this as its been some time since i did video editing!

Does this look like something we could pull together as a community with? would be brilliant IMO, get some good exposure for the site aswell i recon.
