Do you think he would have been much more tame and not smash so many things? I mean I'd like to imagine all his screaming and smashing is symbolic of being truly misunderstood by society. Whatever he has to input to a situation would never be heard. He was just merely frustrated, and deep down inside, just wanted people to understand him.

What do you guys think?

He clearly just wanted a Misses Godzilla. It was a typical case of pent up sexual energy turning into rage and destruction.

You guys are almost right but not quite. Anyways, Godzilla is just looking for love. He tears every building apart just to find his love. Now us as humans naturally think he's gonna destroy us so we Retaliate and Godzilla thinks why are these humans attacking me? He thinks we are trying to stop him from finding love and we think he's trying to destroy us. It's really just a big misunderstanding.
