Hi guys

I've been an Xbox LIVE member for about 4 months now and i've enjoyed every minute of it . I've met some awesome gamers online and enjoyed my multiplayer experiences with all of you but i'm wanting to move on now .

I'm seriously considering moving onto the PS3 . Sell my 360 and get the PS3 . I've in the process of selling my console now so i hope i find a buyer .

The 360 is a friggin' awesome machine . It really is . The online is seamless and stupidly easy to use . There's some damn good games coming too : Forza 2 , Mass Effect & Halo 3 . Titles that i would give my left nut for . The 360 is my first Xbox ever and Microsoft is on the right track but its just that Sony's PS3 has that much more to offer . The Folding @ Home application is astonishing . Its a great feeling to know you can help in research to cure diseases . Its great that i can surf the net right there on my HDTV instead of my Mac .

I originally wanted a PS3 to start with but the delay forced me to get a 360 . Its not a mistake that i got one and i thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it but i want the next-gen "Mercedes" and one day when the 360 premium is really cheap i'll pick one up in a heartbeat . I simply have to have Halo 3 , Mass Effect & Forza 2 .

I love the 360 online and i hope the PS3 can equal it in the not too distant future .

I just hope i get a good amount of $$$ on my 360 sale . For the time being i'll still be on LIVE getting wasted in Gears :lol: . I still royally suck at that game and i've been online for 4 months now . But some of you know my style : @ssholes & elbows Kamikaze baby !!! :lol:

It sucks because right now my 360 is suffering from the damn 3 red lights of death so I can't play Gears with you as of now. With that said, if I can somehow get it fixed (I don't have a warranty) would you still considering wating it out for me? I would love to do Co-op with you when I get it fixed.

Sad to see you go right when I am coming to the 360 Boogie. Enjoy the ps3 :)

Edit: I will add you tonight when I get mine Uncool. :) We will fight for Utada's love. ahahahaha

Personally, I wouldn't recommend selling your 360 right now as, to be honest it has more to offer than the PS3 right now. Yes, the PS3 is a better built console with some extra features (which aren't as apparent as you'd imagine) but it's the games that let it down. I've got Resistance and F1...there's not that much else out right now that makes me want to jump out and buy it.

If you like online, you will prefer Xbox Live alot more than PSN. PSN runs smoothly enough but it just feels too constrained...more of an add-on than a integral feature.

Anyway, that's just my honest, unbiased opinion from owning both...but I wish you the best of luck mate.

hmm what can you play on the ps3? if u sell now u wont experiance Mass Effect, BioShock, Halo 3, Kane & Lynch, Exclusive content for GTA4. Worst time to sell the 360 in my opinion.

I love the PS3 so far. I completed Resistance and am having an absolute blast with Motorstorm (the best racing type game I've ever played on any format (imho)).

Would I sell my 360 if I had to choose between the PS3 and it? No way! I love both consoles but if I had to select one then (somewhat reluctantly) I would choose the 360. The number of available games for it, Live (which I love to bits), the friends I've made through it, and just the whole package I won't ever get rid of it this gen.

There's exclusive content for both GTA4s, so it's not a huge loss.

man i got to much connections for the x360 i have won prizes and have been in some of the top clans, and most of my friends were in the mlg
i got to much credit to be switching systems. also x360 is doing everything right it is this gens ps2

the ps3 has good games, and the games are getting better and better. psn is also very good, there is never any lag, and you can do what you want. of course the xbox360 has more games, it is a year long out, but wait a year. more games does not equal better games. look at motorstorm, it was released 3 months after launch, and it is total awesome, do you know a game on the xbox360 that launched 3 months after launch ? oblivion ? no it was on the pc also, with better graphics and without frame drops and all the glitches. i mean come on, the most games on the xbox360 you can play on a decent pc, with better quality. you dont miss anything if you sell your xbox360, my opinion. you will be surprised how well the ps3 is.

sorry to disappoint you its far away from being a ps2 of this gen. things you mention can also be done on the ps3.

well the x360 is for serious gamers. if you don't want to play on line and get achievments. don't get the x360 cause every x360 game and lobbies seem to make rivalries and competition.
if you want a game with competition play quake for very little players and all are competitive when i was #1 on ctf, arena ctf, death match, and overall my inbox was flooded with friend requests and hate mail. so i had to whoop some arss.

DONT SELL YOUR 360 for a ps3, SAVE up and get a ps3 aswell, then your onto the right track. I mean i get the folding at home thing, but it just seemed crazy that you named all these great games, then you explained you wanted to sell your "GAMES machine" to help with scientific research.

i love my ps3, but if i didnt have a 360 aswell i wouldnt be as happy i dont think.

So yeah man, i would serriousley say DONT sell your 360. YEs get a ps3 but see if you can rob womeone or something :D

Yeah boogie, if you have friends on Live whether their from this forum or people you just know I'm sure you want to keep tabs on them (considering many of us want to play against one another right?) so I suggest like Daimpse stated to just save up for a PS3 but don't sell your 360 in the process. That way you get the best of both worlds and keep in contact with people from both ends. Then again it is your choice so I hope your doing whats right for you in a sense.

nooooo dont do it! 360 is so much more times superior then ps3! just because ps3 has better games, graphics, ability and edge then the 360 and the ceo of sony is much better then dummy bill gates it doesnt mean that the PS3 is the better system! no!

I'd have to agree with a lot of the gamers here. I really think there is no rush getting a PS3 just yet. It has in my mind the funnest racer on the planet and some awesome online battles happening on Resistance Online, but the 360 has more quality games out right now. Not better, but more of them because they have been out longer. The PS3 has a lot more coming this year, but I wouldn't say this is the sweet spot for buying a PS3.

Of course I favor my PS3. Others favor their 360. In other words, I don't think there is a wrong move here. Although I suppose if you are hoping to get the most value out of your 360 trade in wise, if there is a $100 price cut coming on the 360, you will lose huge trade in value. Chances are the PS3 won't have a price drop before the 360 does.

Well yeah i love the 360 too and LIVE is awesome fun . I always meet strange characters online like when i raced this dude in PGR3 and he would go "Quack , Quack" everytime he passed someone ROFL :lol: . Had me in tears everytime he did that .

I'm not dropping the 360 for good . I'm still very much interested in its games but i simply have to have a PS3 now . It must be upcoming titles like Heavenly Sword , Lair , Ratchet & Clank and Uncharted that has me captivated and wanting the PS3 even more .

Long story short , the PS3 has everything i want in a console and new features like Playstation Home , Folding @ Home and LittleBigPlanet with the promise of Killzone 2 and Heavenly Sword .

If i could have both consoles i would but i'm not rich :lol: . I'm still enjoying my 360 .

@ Uncool : No worries bro , i'll see you online soon (when you're 360 is fixed) so we can chat (i've got a headset) .

Add me guys . I need some Gears Of War tips cause i'm still getting owned onine pretty badly :lol:

Damn its a tough situation to be in , i so badly want a PS3 right now . Oh well , i might just hold out for Forza 2 & Mass Effect and then look to buy a PS3 . Or rob someone like Dasimpse advised :lol: .
