i say wait untill those games come out. you dont want to buy something so much and having to wait couple more months to play the game you want.

Heavenly Sword , Lair , Ratchet & Clank and Uncharted are all coming out 2-8 months from now. that should give you enough time to save some money

Maybe i'm just being hasty with the PS3 thing . I know for a fact that if Forza 2 was out now i'll hold onto my 360 for a good while longer but i still want the PS3 whether its now or 9 months down the line .

One thing is certain and i was never the one to admit it . Microsoft has a damn good console on their hands with the 360 . There's just something about it that just sucks me right in and i'm a Playstation fan through and through .

Oh well . I guess i'll just stick to LIVE for now and try and wait another month for Forza 2 (oh the wait is killing me) but if Sony releases another cool feature or game i'm running bare @ss with the words "Kenny I Love You" tattoed on my butt down to my local gamestore with my 360 under my arm to trade for a PS3 :lol: .
But for now : When you see me on Gears : Run b***c RUUUUUN !!!!!! ROFL :lol:

Or, wait until real good games are coming for the PS3, (there are some good ones, but Motorstorm and Resistance aren't system sellers.) such as MGS4. In the mean time, save up money, sell your 360 gams you don't want, and get a PS3, and have both!

Wait for Forza 2 and Mass effect. Seriously. I'd also suggest saving up for a PS3 as well/or persuading someone to buy it as an xmas christmas for you .

I know how it feels though. Now the PS3 is out here (its just come out for you as well I know) I feel like I NEED to have one, regardless of how few games there are that I want on it at the moment (just resistance and F1 for me). I wont be able to resist for much longer, but i certainly wont sell my 360 to get one. I'll be getting a summer job to get a PS3. Or if I'm feeling lazy I'll use some of next years student loan to get one :lol: .

I've been thinking about doing the same thing. My dad has Parkinson's and the [email protected] thing really is a selling point for me. Also I hardly play my 360 anymore, so I figure if I had a PS3 it could actually be put to good use while I'm not using it.

As an owner of both consoles (the PS3 was purchased as a stopgap while my dead 360 was getting replaced) Wait until the PS3 starts living up to its promise - otherwise you might be dissapointed. It's still a couple of firmware upgrades and a dozen games short of its prime in my opinion. The lack of in game custom soundtracks alone is enough reason to wait imo.

You're giving a lot of reasons why you should keep your 360 yet the only reason you have for a PS3 is being it an auto-called (by Sony) Mercedes of the Next Gen.

I really hope you have 3x more fun for every good Playstation game you play this year than what you would with the 360 ones. Then it will be worth the change in my opinion (gamming wise at least) =)

I dunno . I'm stuck between keeping my 360 or getting a PS3 . I guess i'll wait a little longer and see how things pan out . Maybe i'm bored of 360 games and there are no real AAA titles out on it (except Gears which i already finished decades ago) . Then there's the feature rich PS3 which i like .
But yeah , both consoles are equally great . Would love to own both but the girlfriend won't allow it
Besides i have to save up for a shopping spree i promised her when she comes over to New Zealand .

As for selling your 360? I don't understand when people buy a 360 or PS3 and decide to sell it so they can get the other console and figure they will just buy the console again later. That's just plain stupidity! Keep it and save up for a PS3. Simple as that.

But I do have a big problem with these type threads on both the PS3 and Xbox 360 side of the forums. If you are selling your console and are going over to the other side, why in the hell do you guys start threads over it?!? Just sell it and be done with it.

You'll find most PS3 owners will tell you to go with PS3 and join ship, most X360 consumers will tell you to stick with X360, however have you noticed those with both are telling you to keep your X360 and save to buy a PS3?

That's my advice also and it'll always be my advice the reason being is, the PS3 and X360 are incomplete alone but complete together (watch me get flamed by both sides of the fence rofl, got to love it) this is why every console gamer on the earth should have both, they both offer flavours of forbidden fruits the other does not grow (bad analogy?)

I simply have to have Halo 3 , Mass Effect & Forza 2 .

I love the 360 online and i hope the PS3 can equal it in the not too distant future .

I just hope i get a good amount of $$$ on my 360 sale . For the time being i'll still be on LIVE getting wasted in Gears :lol: . I still royally suck at that game and i've been online for 4 months now . But some of you know my style : @ssholes & elbows Kamikaze baby !!! :lol:

Don't sell the 360. I own both it and the PS3, and while the PS3 is good multimedia-wise, it's extremely lacking in games. Resistance is fun but gets bland after a while, Motorstorm has some excellent gameplay but is severely lacking in variety... and F1 is for hardcore F1 fans only. Virtua Fighter 5 will be on the 360 this summer.

As for PS3 exclusives down the road, you're pretty much only looking at Lair in June, Warhawk in September, Ratchet & Clank in December, and Uncharted and Heavenly Sword sometime in the fall. Oh, and MGS4. Everything else will be on the 360, and I'm willing to bet that the vast majority of those multiplatform games will be better on the 360. PS Home isn't going to be released until August or something anyway.

Honestly, I say you wait until fall when there's some fun games out (and you'll have more time to save up money). Unless you really, really, really want Blu-ray, you're not missing out on anything.

And if you sell your 360... you'll miss out on Bioshock, Mass Effect, PGR4, Forza 2, Halo 3, Banjo Kazooie 3, a possible Ace Combat 6, etc.

If you love your 360 a lot... you'll regret selling it for a PS3. I can guarantee you that.

I think the OP has seen enough to make a good decision however for some reason after reading his posts I think he won't make that decision, it's his money and his gaming expirence afterall either way you wont be saying "this is ****" if you get the PS3.

Get it dude you seem to want it so bad, go and get it, sell your X360 and later you'll see, maybe you won't want the X360 ever again, but what's the use of listening to us really?
