is the "wobble" normal on the 3DS XL? Also curious about the notification LED

So I just got my 3DS XL yesterday and I've never had a nintendo handheld since the gameboy color. Two slight concerns:

-The Notification LED, is there any easy way to see if it works or is it mostly for when you have friends on?

-Is it normal for the top screen to wobble a bit? Been noticing when Im playing it if I move the system a bit the screen kind of moves a bit. Curious if this is normal or if I should return the system.

Yeah the wobble is normal. Not sure about the notification light.

I own a pink and white 3DS XL.

1. Which LED notification light? The wifi light?
2. That's not normal, unless my 3DS XL is weird or I am not noticing it.

The orange light on the hinge will light up whenever a friend is online or if you have Streetpass enabled and pass another 3DS/3DS XL owner nearby.

Yes, it's normal. All three 3ds systems we own have that slight play in the top screen when it is "hinge locked".

The only time the wobble bothers me is when I'm lying down.
