Hello all. I was on Xbox for the last couple generations. I gave my Series S to my daughter and I got myself a PS5. Over time I had built up a good collection on Xbox of digital games I bought so I figured for PS5 I would just buy a select few I really liked. I haven't had any PlayStation digital games before, as I did not have a PS4. I was glad to see that Sony had made their PS Plus pretty cool to compete with GamePass. Here's an example of my problem, though: I have Bloodborne on my account from my PS Plus membership but I want to buy the Fancy Shiny Edition with the expansion included. Sony won't let me. Sony thinks I own the game even though I don't own the game, its just on my PS Plus membership. On Xbox, it clearly shows which games you own and which games you are just playing for the month with GamePass and it never ever gives you a hard time trying to give Microsoft money. You can easily buy your new favorite GamePass game. Why can't I do this on PlayStation? It seems unfathomably stupid to me to not let people spend money. I just want to buy this version of the game. Why can't I? I don't own the game, Sony just thinks I do.
