In the first game, I could never get passed the level where you have this huge worm looking thing with the yellow spots you had to shoot. I tried forever to beat this boss and I never could. The game was cool but I never did finish it.
the only thing i liked in the first game was the explosion(played the 360 demo at GS). didnt get a chance to play the demo(online only) cause it simply didnt work for me
absolutely love the first one, it sells > 1.5 mil on xbox 360 only, and 500K for combined ps3 and pc. no wonder they like to show this to xbox 360 user first

Totally not interested in this. The first game was stupidly difficult in places which made playing over the same parts again and again incredibly monotonous. Nice graphics but that was about it.
One part I really liked from the video was showing Co-op monster take down, SotC style. That looked awesome. I would give this one a second shot. Not preordering by any means, but if reviews slant towards this addressing the issues of the first, then I might give it a go.
I wonder if they will change the way the game is played. I originally bought the first one only to trade it in literally 48 hours later. The fact I had to constantly pick up those heat orbs to stay alive really ruined any "fun" factor the game actually had.
