Insomniac has broken cover with a more detailed reveal of its ray tracing features in Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered and Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales... but it appears that some people aren't impressed with the effects and some believe it's not ray tracing at all! The truth is that this is first generation work on bleeding edge technology - as Alex explains in this content.

The reason for this video is the exact reason i hate "gamers". Same type of dumb idiots that apply the logic "if this game has it, then your game should have it too". They know jack, but they like to pretend like they do.

Sadly, even with the high level breakdown, i don't think many will even care to better inform themselves.

But regardless, this is a great video that breaks down the process in simple enough terms that people should be able to understand it - and appreciate how hard the technique actually is to implement.

I wasn't expecting the level of raytracing seen in Spider-Man so I'm already more than happy. I'm not going to notice something like the missing tree details in the reflection when I'm just playing the game normally.
