I got 1,8GHz, 512 and geforce mx4...No hope for me :roll: Oh well, getting 360 so...
13:03 Ever since we first clapped eyes on Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion's breathtaking vistas, a little question's been hanging out with the pixie lurking at the back of our brains: will we need an quantum-giga flux-powered PC to run it? We feared 'massive upgrades required', we feared that it was a game to make our wallets weep tears of despair and our bank manager to angrily eject us from his (or her) office after requesting a loan of three million quid; but hurrah because things aren't as bad as we, ah, feared.
Yep, Bethesda has announced the hardware required to pump fantasy polygons around our monitor screens, and the slice of good news for those of us with three mouths to feed, a mortgage and a subscription to Television X is that minimum required spec isn't too bad. Recommended spec is another matter, but if you're a hardcore PC gamer and sleep on a bed made of 50 notes then it's more than likely you'll own a rig that won't even bat an eyelid when you boot the RPG sequel up.
Anyway, here's the spec stuff:
Recommended:
* 3 Ghz Intel Pentium 4 or equivalent processor
* 1 GB System RAM
* ATI X800 series, Nvidia GeForce 6800 series, or higher video card
Minimum System Requirements:
* Windows XP
* 512MB System RAM
* 2 Ghz Intel Pentium 4 or equivalent processor
* 128MB Direct3D compatible video card
* and DirectX 9.0 compatible driver;
* 8x DVD-ROM drive
* 4.6 GB free hard disk space
* DirectX 9.0c (included)
* DirectX 8.1 compatible sound card
* Keyboard, Mouse
We've no idea how good the game will look running on minimum spec, but hey, at least it'll be running.
