Hopefully this is the right place to post this.

This is my latest animation that i completed for a module on my animation uni course. It's an experimental stop motion piece using black card puppets over a back light. No digital effects or animation used. Just a simple frame by frame animation.

Length: 2 mins
Animator: Me
Music: Joe Cruickshank from ambiamusic.com

Really proud of this piece and it surprised my class  Hope you guys enjoy it.

if you want to know more about this style, Research 'Lotte Reiniger'.

Enjoy.

EDIT:

Here's photo I took of all the card puppets and environments:
Well done, I can imagine this kind of animation (25 shots a second) will do my head in !! :snicker
Thanks, going with 25fps is definately helpful especially with stop motion when it's hard to know if the timing is perfect straight away. You usually have to get like a second or two worth of animation which can waste alot of time.

With 25fps I could slow down any segment that went by fast, by just duplicating the frames to make that specific part 12 fps. It is noticable when it changes but it doesn't ruin the experience that much at all.
