Modes:
-Story

Not much is known about the story mode. It definately includes the battle between Sasuke and Raikage but thats all they've shown. It could very easily be an "update" to the series focusing on multiplayer and arcade like modes or it could have a story mode from the very beginning of the story all the way to the 4th great ninja war. For now, its all speculation. The promo image states that we'll be able to play Zabuza's and Haku's story which supports the theory that the story mode includes the kid series and the shippuden series which would be huge.

yeah it makes sense and that I hope that happens but the fact they are focusing the game as generations is causing alot of speculation on whether it will cover both shippuden and the kid series. that would be quite a big game O_O

Imagine what naruto would be like after this weeks manga O_O lol

I got Ultimate storm 2 like a month ago, I dont really want to play the same game again but longer. :snicker

But i'd buy it eventually, sadly. :p

I reckon he wouldnt be limited. At the way the manga is going, Sasuke my be just as overpowered and we already know Madara is. If anything he'll probably be similar to 6 tails for toad sage mode in the second game: as the awakening form.

I think it is more for multiplayer. Not much more you can do with the story.

I guess another reason for the younger generation being included in this game is because 360 fans of the game never got UNS1, so this is a good move to let fans who never played the first game play as character from UNS1. In that case I want the assist only characters from UNS1 to be playable:

- Sound ninja 5 (we only had kimimaru in the 1st game)
- Shizune
- 1st Hokage
- 2nd Hokage

Looks like its using the same engine with minimal to no tweaks. Really is starting to look like an update to the second game, most likely why they havent given the title are number.

This looking more like an add on/update. I seriously do not like the idea of replaying the entire story.I am sick of shippuden opening story (save gaara arc)
first Ultimate ninja 4, then 5 then UNS2 and now this.How many time will I have to play the story over and over.

I wouldnt be surprised if the story just consists of the special fights with zero exploration kind of like how the UNS1 did things but minus the leaf village. It seems like their focus is on character roster and multiplayer (including online). Theres absolutely no mention of story in the official press besides that promo image talking about reliving Haku and Zabuza's story.

Yeah, it says "who's the strongest of em all" in the teaser, and this leads me to believe it will be like a tournament kinda thing.

UNS2's story was really good so its a shame you're not interested. It follows the rpg formula of towns and exploration minus the random battles. The special/ important battles are excellent too.

It felt like the fighting/ multiplayer was an add on and the story was THE game. :)

Looks more of an upgrade to me IMO. I don't see any evolution. just hope they will balance the gameplay a little bit better this time.
The incessant spamming of the long range characters was insane online. They really should do something with the shakra jauge.
I don't really find a reason to spend 70 bucks this time. Just putting missing characters from UNS1 and maybe DLC characters which were not playable is not something which will lead me to purchase it at full price.
But I ll certainly take it but not day one.
