Quarterback Andrew Luck broke Stanford’s record for most touchdown passes thrown. The record was previously held by John Elway, who threw for 77 touchdowns, while at Stanford.

It took Luck all of three years to accomplish this feat. Elway had the 77 touchdowns in four full seasons. Stanford is ranked fourth by the BCS and Luck is a candidate for the Heisman Trophy award. Luck helped his cause yesterday against a ranked team, throwing for 4 touchdowns and over 200 yards passing. Stanford doubled up on Notre Dame 28-14.

South Carolina has just cemented itself into being lucky to get a decent bowl game this year. They just lost the game to Florida, but they lost a lot more than just that one game. They lost the chance at an SEC East title, SEC title, chance at a National Championship, top rankings... goodness the offense and special teams were less than JV highschool today.
Florida can still backdoor to the national championship game. Unthinkable before the season and I'm a Gator grad.
Not gonna happen. Notre D vs Georgia/Alabama.

Awesome games tonight. Gamecocks took it to Clemson. It was a great game and the GC's defense showed up big time throughout the game. The ND vs USC game was epic to say the least.

My rooting interest in the National Championship game will be whichever team isn't Notre Dame.

In other news, it looks like my WVU Mountaineers could be heading to the pinstripe Bowl in NYC to face our arch-rivals, the Pittsburgh Panthers. That would be huge because even though we're only one year removed from playing Pitt it's already left a big hole in our list of games to look forward to each season. This is also a trip I could make because I have about twenty friends in the NYC area, about 8 of which went to WVu at the same time I did. This could be the only thing that could save this otherwise disappointing season.

Bulldogs took control of that second half, good game though.

Settling into this Rose Bowl game..Badgers playing a good Stanford team I guess. Haven't seen them play but I hear they're beast. Let's go Wisconsin, show em what some Midwestern mofos can do lol!
