At this price range the MSI you have chosen is the best you could chose indeed. I would go for it.


It is quite a nice laptop. You wont get anything much better if you pay $100-200 more.

Maybe there are better deals in other shops though.

Well for 700 don't expect too much for gaming. The best laptop I could find to play the best and newest games is the Gateway 7805. It's at Best Buy for $1150. Not sure if you're willing to go that high, but it can play essentially any game on PC out there at medium to high settings.

Go for the MSI. The GPU looks to be a bit better for only $20 or so more. Also, the MSI is brand new, not refurbished and it has a better processor. The processor on the MSI has a faster FSB and more L2 Cache (1066 MHz as opposed to 800 MHz with 3MB of L2 Cache as opposed to 2MB).

Yeap definitely the MSI. For Just $20 you will get something noticeably better.
