New horror game Eden (Game based on antichrist)

I was really surprised to see it wasn't posted anywhere other than danish sites as the news are months old.

Morten Iversen who also worked on the hitman games is the director of the game, it's based on the very controversial movie antichrist by Lars von Trier. The game starts where the movie ends and you will control Willem Dafoe's character from the movie going back to the cabin in Eden.

In a interview with politiken one of the biggest danish newspapers Iversen calls it the myst of horror games, he also promise that it will be at least as controversial as the movie which for example included

the lead actress's ****oris getting cut off with a scissor and Dafoe ejactulating blood

, he talks about how this is what the gaming industry needs right now and **** like that. The game will be about to 6 hours long.

It will be released on pc next year and they are looking into getting it released through psn and live but arent planning to censoring the game so if Sony and MS says no it wont be released on them.

I'm actually pretty excited for this but really any new horror game at the moment would make me.

I will bet 500 skill points right now that this game take a lot of hits for it's content (not that it should mind you) because it has a religious theme. Pretty soon us gamers will be the antichrist in some people's minds (though we may be already).

I live in the USA but thanks for sharing the info anyway! The video you posted makes the movie seem like it will be decent though I can't stand the black and white route they took!

DON'T WATCH THAT ****ING MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I swear to god for like the first hour its THE most boring drivel ever put on film, and then, to make up for it, its like they just put a bunch of ****ed up shots in there. I almost threw up twice, and i've seen the saw movies and the likes of that, but this is just graphically greoss and un-needed.

I had to watch the Sponge Bob Square Pants Movie right after that just to get the imagery out of my head, it will make you sad all over, and then you'll want to go brush your teeth.

Only the intro and outtro is black and white.

I thought the first hour was really interesting and the sick stuff was also good. Sure the sick stuff is not for everyone but i really still dont think it's worse than hostel or saw.

Each to their own i guess, i've seen lots of negative reviews for it but all the negatives have pretty much just been "OMG way too sick!!!!" reviews.

I disagree. Gaming industry doesn't need more publicity bs. I love horror games but this sounds like it's just gonna turn into a fubar pos game with shock factor slapped to it. Willem Dafoe is great tho.
