Did i say that? I said i wouldn't, and for me it doesn't look like a very good comercial.
They show the vita for like what, 2 seconds? I's a beast of a handheld, that's what they need to be showing.
This just like game trailer's that only show CGI, for me it always looks like a trap.

Sorry for not being very clear.

This AD could be for the PSP.

WTF Sony just show the VITA running the best launchgames!
Is it really so hard?

They should have shown this 1 month ago to build up hype, then follow up with gameplay videos and the other technical features.

First of all, you're being so negative, and i find the ad good and inspiring
sure it doesn't show the features but it's about the principal

Sony does not need to try and sell out at launch. They have many many years to promote the Vita. Eventually everyone will know about the Vita and see the ads.

Reminds me of the decent ads for PS1/2, could be a hell of a lot worse so yeah these are good, question is, how many times will it be on TV? More than the 2 or 3 times they usually do for PS ads? I never even saw the Uncharted 3 ad.

I've seen that PS Vita ad in the op a few times on TV this weekend.
It's a good ad, but there needs to be more variety, showing off gameplay/the UI etc.

But at least they're showing ads! ;)

The ads are fucking shit. They need to just show features, games etc. I can't stand this kind of advertising, what the fuck does it really express? At the end of 30 seconds or a minute, ive seen a bunch of people talking shit and doing fuck all and I'm no better informed about why I should get a Vita.

Well, they are trying to show off what type of games Vita will have, but it's not that clear of a message. People in the know should get the commercial. If it was some random person, I doubt they'd understand much.

Sony have been dreadful this gen in this department. The advert itself was interesting but until the last 5 seconds you'd never really know it was a PSVita advert.

The adverts seem ok but I agree it would be better if they showed off the features of the Vita.
