Hello fellow members of the esteemed PS3Forums Community!

As you may have heard previously, we're working on some cool new things for gamers (of which PS3Forum members will super secret access -- and some have already! More invites will be given out in the coming few weeks)

It's going to be a social network for gamers, and we need your help picking a name for it.

To vote, go here: http://www.polldaddy.com/p/396240/

We'll post the results here after we've got the votes in!

Thanks,

Rebon

I have to agree with DaveW. The choices wasn't there for me either.

GameInteract.com or some in those lines would be more representable in my view. But I guess the good ones are already taken.

What happened to my suggestion of "iGame.com"? In my opinion theres not enough options, so I'm not going to vote.

Some other names I came up with...

Playmore, iPlay, PlayHub, GameHub, GamersHub, Playnet, gamenet?

Out of those I'd pick gamehive as this IS supposed to be about social networking and a hive is representative of that.

@baki

Did you whois each of those to see if available?

Playmore, iPlay, PlayHub, GameHub, GamersHub, Playnet, gamenet

Playmore: Taken (By MS no less) http://www.whois.net/whois_new.cgi?d=playmore&tld=com

iPlay: Taken http://www.networksolutions.com/whois/results.jsp?domain=iplay.com

PlayHub: Taken but for sale: http://www.whois.net/whois_new.cgi?d=playhub&tld=com

GameHub: Taken but for sale: http://gamehub.com/

GamersHub: Taken but for sale: http://gamershub.com/

Playnet: Taken: http://www.wwiionline.com/scripts/wwiionline/index.jsp

Gamenet: Flash game site http://gamenet.com/
Gamr fits in with the whole web 2.0 thing, Tumblr, etc.
That is exactly why I didn't vote for it...its old...this isn't about Web 2.0 its about Game 3.0

I went with gamr.com It is quick, to the point, easy to remember, and sounds more broadly professional and less thrown together than the other choices to me.

Am I the only one who liked invader?

i thought it just sounded easy going, and slightly abstract, as in its not necessarily exclusively for gaming.
