Glad they reconfirmed it's coming this year!!!! I too cannot wait I was worried since we haven't seen a huge amount on it.
I'm not sure what I just watched. o_O The art style looks great, though.
Hopefully there will be more videos in the future that will show more gameplay and the social system. This trailer doesn't really do much for folks unfamiliar with the series. I think that may be one of the things that have kept Persona from gaining broader appeal. People just look at it and say "what the hell is it?"

People keep complaining about a lack of games in the fall but ignore what the reality actually is.The PS4 has the most diverse games coming out this fall. The difference is that Sony does not just need BIG games releasing like Uncharted and GT and still has that strong Japanese presence. There is so much this fall with both No man's Sky and Tomorrow Children being confirmed along with Disgaea and P5.

No games in the Fall? All i need is Persona 5. I like how unless it's Halo, Gears, Uncharted, or God of War coming, it's considered no games.

I know what you mean about certain games being ignored. I'm most excited for Dragon Quest Heroes which is set to release in October but, as far as I know, I'm also the only one thinking about it. Persona 5 and Dragon Quest Heroes are two games that I'm seriously considering picking up a PS4 to play by the end of the year.

I'm looking forward to DQ Heroes as well. I finally feel like my PS4 is getting a full slate of games to play. Going to be a good year of gaming.

The second official trailer for Persona 5 has leaked online via the Special Blu-ray Movie included with first-print copies of Persona 4: Dancing All Night, which is now available in Japan.

Watch the trailer below. Download a backup here: 720p (FileConvoy / Wikisend), 1080p (FileConvoy / Wikisend / LoveIsOver).

I wasn't going to post this at first because I had assumed it would be taken down but luckily that hasn't happened. Persona 5 is going to be awesome!

Yeah the youtube version was getting constantly taken down I found a another video but wasn't sure if it will get taken down as well.
Never the less shows a mix of old and new footage. Still can't believe Persona 5 is coming out this year.

No exact release date right? Please! Please come out this year!

I've been dying to listen to the awesome Persona style music, get addicted, play over 200+ hours and just listen to the music for hours :D

At least the announcement has been made for 2015!!

Currently playing: Persona 4: Golden, Final Fantasy X & X-2 HD Remaster & Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition

Yeah, Shoji Meguro's music is one of the best things about the Persona games. When I first listened to the music in Persona 3 FES, I knew it was an awesome series that I was getting into.

The music is awesome. This is going to be the first time I play Persona on a console. Previously I only had them for PSP and Vita. Am I going to blast the music loud enough for the entire house to hear? Yes I am. :D

Really wish they would announce the release date. Second half of this year is going to be nothing but MGS and Persona 5.
Is it OK for me to skip first 3 games and jump to the 4th?
Yep. I think the first and second games were related, but 3 and 4 stand alone.

You can most definitely start with Persona 4.

Persona 4 needs no prior knowledge of the other 3. My brother got into Persona 4 and then he played Persona 3:FES after playing hundreds of hours of 4! It gets really addictive :D

You'll love every bit of it and get hyped for 5.

Persona 4 is good to start with but I started with Persona 3 FES. Both excellent games I too love Shoji Meguro ost's such as the battle themes and especially liked these 2.

People who haven't caught up playing some of the games should play them before Persona 5 comes out!

Well, Persona 3 and Persona 4 are actually set in the same world since you end up visiting the school from Persona 3 in Persona 4 at one point but it's not important to the story. Similarly, I wonder if Persona 5 is set after the events of Persona 4.
