[QUOTE="WaxWeazle, post: 6428564]Haven't watched it myself yet, but here's a vid I came across just now.
It's the PC version on the highest settings though.
Really curious about how this game will turn out to be!
Gotta say that is looking stunning! The reflection in the bonnet at 1:20 is quite incredible. I wonder how close this will look on PS4?
[QUOTE="Smiler, post: 6428582]This is supposed to be the PS4 version as well
Hmm, can't make my mind up after seeing that. Wasn't keen on how the P1 and Audi seemed to skip on some of the bends and collisions didn't seem to have much effect. I dunno, guess it's different playing it, didn't think it looked as good as what I've seen before neither.
Current build for pCars is 950 as of yesterday. The pattern seems to be a build per day which is mainly going over nothing but Multiplayer tweaks - has been for most of February. I would imagine that the big v1.0 will be at the end of next month. Watching all of those videos makes me want to play it some more!
Slightly Mad Studios’ racer*Project Cars*will miss its April 2nd release date. This makes the third time the release of the game has been pushed back.
Project Cars*was first supposed to release in November of last year, but was then delayed until March of this year. It was delayed once again from March to April. Today we learn that it has been delayed from April to May – mid May to be exact. Free content will be released for the game post launch as a consolation for these ongoing delays.
I got an email from SMS earlier about what's happening with those that helped crowd fund it, they mentioned a few things that isn't related to this though it seems that both announcements were at the same time. I could easily tell that the game wouldn't have been released on time looking at the build number anyway. I think their gold master was mentioned on the forums to be v975 which is not too far off what it is now (953).
Free DLC Cars Will Be Added to Project CARS Each Month
Slightly Mad Studios has confirmed that players of its upcoming crowdfunded racing sim Project CARS will receive a series of free DLC vehicles in the months following the game’s release.
The first cab off the rank, so to speak, is one of the most exclusive and expensive cars ever made – the W Motors Lykan Hypersport.
“We are immensely pleased to have this awesome machine in the game and to give fans the chance to get behind the wheel of a truly amazing vehicle,” said creative director Andy Tudor on the Project CARS website. “The Lykan Hypersport represents the first of a series of free cars we’ll be giving away every month as a thank you to our fans for being so patient for the launch of the game. We’ll have more info on the full schedule of further content for Project CARS soon but we hope that this is a great sneak peek of just one way in which Project CARS is going to expand in the future.”
I'm patiently awaiting release of this game.
I don't play that much race games really, but I really have interests in this. It looks amazing, graphically, and I'm pretty sure it'll run like a charm with the G27. (on my PC that is)
