I might pick up Starfield this weekend. We'll see.
I still don't know for sure if it's a game that I would like or not. I own Oblivion, Skyrim and Fallout 4 and I haven't finished any of them yet. At some point I probably should play them all the way through. None of them have really hooked me so far, but maybe if I play them for a longer time it might click. Right now I'm just going to watch streamers play Starfield to see what the game is like. Since I'm a big sci-fi nerd it feels like the game should be something for me, but I'm not sure yet. I might get it at some point.
From what I heard of Starfield it's sounds like it's not bad but not super good either.

Fallout in Space. In some ways I heard it's more like Bethesda's older titles.
Yeah, the scores is a little bit like the performance on PC, all over the place. ;) Some people absolutely love it and some people are disappointed with it, but I've not seen any really low scores so far, the lowest I've seen is 7/10 and that's ok/good at least.

Yeah, I think it's not bad but not good either. Yeah, I got quite far on Oblivion and Skyrim played some of the Fallout games which weren't my cup of tea.
I think the modding community makes Bethesda games for me.

I've been playing Trine 5 for about a week now and so far it's definitely up there as one of the best Trine games in the series. So, that's what I'm going to continue to play this weekend.

Im pretty sure I got the standard edition. I used to like good single player focused shooters like Wolfenstein in the early 2000s. Not so much things like COD etc. So I thought I give Metro a try.
Yeah, I'm definitely not a fan of online/pvp (BF, COD and such) shooters any more, but a good single player shooter I might enjoy if there's more to it than just running and gunning.

I finished Trine 5 last night and it might actually be the best one in the series, for me at least. I really enjoyed my playthrough.

Now I have about 10 days until the Cyberpunk 2077 DLC releases, so I need to find a short game to play at the moment. But I have no idea what to go for, I'll have to figure that out during the day today.

I started playing The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan (that was included with PS Plus a while back) on sunday. It's another game confirming that I absolutely suck at quick time events. I'm quite far in to the game (I think) and in my last session I managed to kill two of the characters just because I couldn't hit the right buttons at the right time, lol. I hope I can make it all the way through with at least one character alive. ;)

I've been playing Age of Empires II DE, Teamfight Tactics and Diablo 4 mostly. I did pre-order the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Collector's Edition, so I'm definitely looking forward to that in February next year. With the baby due this week, I doubt I'll have much time for gaming the next few months, but I have Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty, Spider-Man 2, and Starfield all on my wishlist to pick up.

I finished The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan yesterday and managed to get one of the characters through alive, everyone else died because I suck at quick time events and probably made a wrong decision or two. ;) The game was ok for what it is I guess, but nothing that I wanna replay to get better results. Basically it's an interactive movie game. A lot of cinematics and quick time events. There's a little bit of walking around and exploring, but mostly it's a cinematic experience, with focus on the story and characters. I enjoyed the horror story and atmoshpere, but to me the gameplay loop was the weak point of the game.

Thanks for the suggestion. I don't think I'll play it right now since the Cyberpunk 2077 expansion is just a few days away. But it will probably be on sale again.

I think I'm going to jump into Cyberpunk 2077 again this weekend since the 2.0 patch is out now. I might start a new character since a lot of people have been recommending doing that before the expansion releases.

I heard Cyberpunk has improved lots since launch and heard good things on the new expansion. I might give it a shot.

Just too much games to play not enough time. Like Jan/Feb is so stacked for me let alone my backlog. Been on a sale buying spree too.
Yeah, for me it kind of starts now and I'll probably be busy for the rest of the year at least. First it's the Cyberpunk 2077 DLC that releases tomorrow, then it's Spider-Man 2 and Alan Wake 2 releasing in october, and Quantum Error and the Tales of Arise DLC in november. "Lyckily" Alone in the Dark remake has been pushed to january, so that's one game less that I'm interested in that would've otherwise released this year (in october I think). Out of these I only feel like it's Spider-Man 2 (and Cyberpunk 2077 DLC) that I really wanna play around the release, the rest I can play when ever. On top of this I still have a bunch of games that has already been released that I would like to play at some point, and a backlog on top of that. So the chance of me not having anything to play is very slim. ;)

Yeah I'm brought Nayuta yesterday it's fun a remaster of the PSP game. Soo much games to catch up on. I still need to finish Spider Man 1 and need to get around playing Miles Morales and Cyberpunk.

Possibly looking at Baldurs Gate 3 too.

Star Ocean 2 R I'm definitely buying I'm sold from the demo. Finish patch 6.5 of FFXIV when it releases. Honkai Star Rail PS5 October too.

Yeah it's super stacked

I bought Phantom Liberty and started a new game as a Corpo. Put about 17hrs into it thus far and just got to Act 3 in the main campaign. Got my character to level 26. Also, just started the Phantom Liberty DLC campaign. Just beat the Chimera after rescuing the President and now entering the main part of the district. Enjoying this new playthrough a lot since I haven't played Cyberpunk 2077 since the game first came out and beat it in the first month or so. Did it as Nomad. Playing the game a couple years later after all the updates / patches is pretty nice. Plus it runs a lot better on my RTX 3080 Ti w/Intel 12900k than it did on my RTX 2070 laptop (which overheated after about 2hrs).

Same thing here. But I'm playing it on PS5 (in performance mode), since I got the main game for PS5. Even though I haven't started the Phantom Liberty stuff yet I thing I enjoy the game more than I did in my first playthrough. And I played it about one and half years ago, when a lot of the worst bugs were fixed. I don't know what it is, it just feels better to play now and there's a lot of stuff that I don't remember from my first playthrough. I'm really enjoy playing this game right now, it feels really good.

Yeah, I can imagine that it feels better playing on better hardware (than before) and not having it overheat. ;) I would probably have gotten it for PC too if I'd had my new PC back then.

I'm still playing Cyberpunk 2077 and now I'm quite far into the expansion (I think). The expansion content has been really good so far and the 2.0 changes has definitely made the game better overall. I'm really enjoying my playthrough so far, it's definitely a better and more fun experience than last time I played it. One small thing I've noticed that is changed when you drive vehicles is that the vehicles on the road doesn't constantly break check in front of you, that is really welcome improvement. That shit was driving me crazy the last time I played the game. ;)

I will most likely play either Phantom liberty or Forspoken (finished the main story but i want to do everything)
If you like the main game I definitely recommend playing Phantom Liberty, it's really good, imo. I've finished the Phantom Liberty story now and I'm going to play the game (do some side content and maybe finish the main game story) until Spider-Man 2 releases next week.
