I think consoles are better for gaming then the PC's are, Yes the ps3 will be much more powerful the PC's today and in the next year. It will take 8 months after the lauch of the ps3 for the PC to be on PAR with the console in term's of the gpu. Also why do some people think the keyboard beats the controller for the ps2? The keyboard is the worse for gaming the ps2 controller because it fits any hand perfectly and the buttons are easly acsessed.

secondly because only few computers will be the better and their will be more games than the pc this makes be think that pc will just be used for nongaming stuff :D

I can find myself buying a top of the line PC unless I had a ton of money because in 2 years it an old piece of crap.......They need a way to bring in old comps and pay like 500 bucks to get the next top of the line computer....

Instead if shelling out 1500 dollars for a new pc, I will shell out 700 for a ps3. I can still hook my keyboard and mouse to it, and I get to play on a 30 inch screen now.

Well the PS3 is only just as powerful as my PC now. The difference is my has to cope with Windows and alot other stuff. The PS3 and XBOX 360 only have to concentrate on the game. When the PS3 comes out PC's will be more powerful (even if only a little).

Thats how it is and thats how it will stay unfortunatly.

Well this is kind of a dumb topic, everyone knows that sooner or later home PC's will exceed the performance of even the mighty cell and its RSX. The amount of time that will take is hard to determine, I give it about a year, possibly a little more.
Cell's arcitecture is so new and unique though so a PC equivelent would be hard to fathom.
