Uwe Boll, destroyer of gaming movies, has recently said that he would stop making video game movies if a petition was made with a million signatures.
Sadly, once that petition was made he realized he might soon be out of a job, and ammended his statement, no saying that he would subtract the amount of votes for him to stop from a petition to KEEP him making movies.
My point? We need all the help we can get. If it werent for this horrible director/producer, we could have great video games making millions in the box office, something like how the comic book industry has done. But because of his horrible hack and slash movies, we are stuck with movies like Halo getting their funding pulled. I'm sure everyone here knows at least 1 game they would like to see turned into a full feature film. Me? Halo, Bioshock (well, that one seems to be in the works, but I don't want it to be pulled like Halo), Zelda, Starcraft, and possibly even Splinter Cell... I'm sure you guys have more stuff you would like to suggest.
So, everyone who agrees that we could use some movies made out of games, please go to the link below to stop Uwe Boll, that way we can finally get a good game movie (maybe that'll be bioshock...) and once we can get JUST ONE good game movie, that should set the industry into overdrive, just like it has done with both fantasy books, AND comic books.

And while we are at it, please lets start a discussion of what games we would like to see on the big screen!
Obviously I've stated some taht I would like, but I think specifically Bioshock, and Starcraft would be AMAZING movies. Both have deep, intense stories, great unique worlds, potential for amazing specials effects while still using live actions actors... They would be great. Bioshock could be a 1 or 2 movie thing, while StarCraft could turn into a Star Wars-esque long lasting series.
