Really nice one there. Good job.

I got to get my lenses back from my ex-girlfriend... she still is using them for a few photo shoots with some band. Shouldn't have lent them to her for so long, we are good friends though.... so its cool. But I miss them.

Yeah, come on buddy. Get those lenses back, or move back in with her so your lenses and you are co-located again :D

Its an ex-girlfriend...... one that I dated years ago, for about 3 years. We are just really good friends.

My current girlfriend and I have been together for 4 and a half years..... so.. hehe.. just gotta make a phone call or two.

lol yeah they are. I posted them and then I thought to myself "omg! I'm posting photos of leaves on forums!" - it was that awful moment when you realise you REALLY are getting old :D

Thanks Gilly3. I took those photos on an island called "Vinpearl Land" near Nha Trang, Vietnam. Actually, the island's real geographical name is Hon Tre(if I'm not mistaken), but everyone calls it VL because of the tourist resort. They even have Hollywood-like inscription on one of mountains which can been seen from the city beach. Yes, I love sunsets.

As for sunrise - I took this photo on a Corfu island in Greece, two months after Vietnam.

Stunning pictures i must say! so magical yet natural.

I would like to ask what kind of camera did you use? Is there a website where i can look up your camera's specifications?

I see those look good and i bet they're expensive cameras.

I'm a casual and not a professional photographer. I like to take pictures of events/friends/nice weather/the sea/special things.

So a decent camera with high pixel would do the job :) and of course a strong anti-shake feature.

Well Sony has an anti shake feature in the camera body, but most of the time some lenses do, it's not always needed either, just as a safety net for low light photography.

High pixel count doesn't mean anything in terms of picture quality, it helps a lot if you like to crop pictures.

Nice pan shot there, we got the Indy here in the summers now, never been a fan of racing but I love driving so I get it...

So what specifications should i look for when i ask around the store? For an amateur like me.
