I was able to find a reasonably cheap OEM dock station off Ebay. $80 for the dock, hdmi cable, and power adapter. Everything appears to be legit and is identical to the dock that came with my Switch.

It is very nice to be able to easily go from the downstairs TV to my bedroom without having to unplug stuff. Here is the link to the guy I bought mine from, but I think he sold out now.

I am constantly moving my Switch from the room where I play solo to the living room for Mario Kart races. So definitely getting another dock soon.

I use a usb c male/female cable and just go from switch to dock without having to put my switch in the dock and scratch the fuck out of my screen. I can grab the dock and just walk my ass to another room with the dock and power cable. I have to walk the switch to another room, so might as well just haul that dock around too. It's honestly an extra 10 seconds at most to take it from my room to the living room and have it sorted and playing.

amFilm makes the best screen protectors I've ever used. I have one on my phone right now and you can hardly tell it's there.
I have a screen protector on as well, but I'm still not putting it in a dock lol. I surely won't be spending $60+ on another dock. Screw that.
You have a screen protector on it and you are still afraid of scratches? lol

$80 is tiny investment on something that will get used a lot and make it much easier for me to play on 2 separate TV's. Trying to unplug my dock downstairs in the game room is no easy task as everything is hidden.

Their dock is shit, so I'm not going to use it, screen protector or not. $80 isn't a price for convenience in my book. I can understand how it is in your case though.
