An open invite has just gone out courtesy of Activision and Infinity Ward! Select GameStop locations will be opening their doors allowing eager gamers to experience the single player version of the game hands on before the official release on November 6th.
To get in on the fun, be one of the first 100 to enlist on the scene at participating GameStop locations. Swag and prizes include a signed call sheet from Infinity Ward.

Maybe I'm being overly pessimistic, but I wonder if PS3 owners are in for a delay??? The Gamestop ad you're speaking of only talks about he 360 version and fails to mention the PS3 version at all. I know the devs have been saying it will be launched across all platforms at the same time, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little concerned that it won't happen.

i really dont mind waiting an extra 2 weeks to play the finished product. besides i would have to go out of my way to get to one of the locations.........

It's funny I got the Costco magazine today that had a page dedicated to upcoming video games. The magazine had listed CoD:4 coming out on October 16th for both the PS3 and 360. Must be a big fat mistake by the Costco empire!
