Its is rather disappointing to see how quickly Sony Computer entertainment America is turning its back on the single most power home console they ever created before releasing Ps4 and 5. Furthermore what has become erie to me is just how well the PS3 has lived in my home for nearly a decade and and half without issue. I just recently upgraded her to a 500 GB hard drive that I had from an old laptop I upgraded to an SSD. I also greased the processor which is called a cellbroadband and GPU call a reality Synthesizer. As for the coin battery I didn't change it but when it goes I will be sure to change it out. The PS3 is just a rock solid platform and seeing how many other gamers are just not over the idie games and many of the platformers that well who really had the time to finish playing them all with so many games to chose from and HD copies of some of our most beloved classics PS3 should have never been disbanded. What PlayStation is failing to realize is that at some point in the future they will want to retro the PS3 back to the consumers and what we are going to do is turn our back on the retro release. I mean lets think about tomorrow SONY and maybe even a few decades from now. What is to happen if game studios just don't have the talent or the motivation anymore because well look how PS3 just took all the hard work and decided to flush it all away just cause of consumerism and the push to get more ps4 and ps5 owners. Do you understand SONY that PS3 game creators are creating art work that you are just going to turn off. How much money are you going to lose now that you have no trickle down revenue from the still active PlayStation store accounts for ps3, Vita and psp owners. Why would you even consider closing them why not hyper discount all the games so more money comes in and maybe you can even get some old gamers to blow the dust of the PS3 in the closet for ole time sake and enjoy the hyper discounting you often do on the PSN store. You are disgraceful for closing the store and with all abandon you have hurt many gamers and game creators in the process. Again this is why PC gaming will always be the ultimate gaming experience while PlayStation is just a computer gaming Synthesizer that has lost its pulse. I am pissed and sad that I ever left Nintendo as a child to come to the Sony family who I truly thought would always be strong minded about keeping its future, present, and legacy gamers happy but you have proven that money is what matters not loyalty. LEARN from big companies like FORD, Nintendo and other legacy brands. You don't turn your back on legacy you innovate and expand on it so that the world respects your brand much more and wants to become apart of your eco system. I will be playing my PS3 till the end of time have fun with your new age millennials who lack brand loyalty and have XBOX and Nintendo and everything under the sun they don't invest as heavily as the legacy gamers you are turning your back on. If I were the CEO I would have a team dedicated to legacy gaming and maintaining the online servers for as long as we do business why because DLC'S is money forever and ever and ever. R&D money too cause you learn from those transactions and you never know what game becomes popular after two decades. HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN ABOUT STARCRAFT, again this is why PC gaming is going to be king forever. PEACE.
