PlayStation Japan announcement teased for Thursday

According to Andriasang, the Japanese PlayStation firm has placed mysterious posters in select train stations along Tokyo's Yamanote train line, featuring a tiny PlayStation logo and the face of actor (and Katamari soundtrack contributor) Shigeru Matsuzaki.

It's reported that a general statement has been sent to Japanese press promising that "all mysteries will be cleared up on the 28th" (that's Thursday).

We're not expecting anything more than Japan-centric news, but it's worth noting that the 28th is also the launch day for Metal Gear Solid HD Edition on PS Vita, as well as a new Crystal White version of the handheld.
