Paying more for a service that has gone down in quality offering from last gen. Not happy at all.
And this is the part that people fail to realize. I hate that gamers have this happy go lucky approach.
"Yes! It's only 0.000001% increase, no big deal"
Yes! it is a got damn big deal. We're paying more for an inferior product than we've had in the past. Something is terribly wrong with that. It's like the gaming community falls for everything and stands for nothing. It's bad enough most games come out in hyper alpha Beta stage and then give me the "No worry guys, patch on the way" bullsheet! I just hope the servers improved with this increased hike or I'll have to re-think is online really worth it anymore. Gaming is gettin' hella phony anyway, to me.

Yeah...that is the best criticism of PS+. It was once awesome. Now it is not. I'm fine paying more for it if it gets it back to what it once was. But they are going to have to show me that this is what they are trying to do first.
Sony just spoiled us like crazy before, that was some insane value. You still get a lot of value, but not as much, and people aren't happy. They hurt themselves. It's like Steam with their sales, people rather wait for those than pay at launch.
I bought 3 years worth before the increase takes effect. I'm good until Oct. 2020.
It's kind of funny, I don't even play games online, but I have PS+. Since I have a PS3, PS4 and Vita (and a PSP...somewhere around here), I figure PS+ is warranted, like a companion service for my game systems.
