soooo can we watch watch flash content on the browser now? as in embedded youtube videos?
Youtube now uses HTML5 primarily over Flash now I believe, reason is that HTML5 has really shot Flash in the foot, given it an arrow to the knee, and then knocked it out over the head with a crowbar.

Well actually HTML5 is set by the W3C so it's all native stuff. :D

Can't wait for the other updates too though still debating on getting PS+ or not, it's just that I won't own the games if the sub ends, hmm.

PS+ and being able to check email via vita has me interested.
It just needs a $50 price drop, or a bundle that includes a 16 GB Mem card and I think I'd be too tempted to pass that up. o.o
oh god dammit the only 2 vita games i bought so far uncharted and gravity rush... blehhhhhhhh
That's kinda what happened when PS+ first came out, and for the entire first year. I only saw games I already owned, or definitely wouldn't ever want lol. Give it some time, they'll populate the "freebies".

well im actually really happy with final fantasy tactics, hell thats one of the main games i have for Psone and on UMD that i was hoping one day to be able to rip... didnt want to have to re-buy it just for the vita too. (and perhaps i can sell my uncharted and gravity rush for a decent price... i got gravity rush for free anyways already from my sonyrewards card lol)

also... is the extra 1gb cloud storage additional to the PS3's (what is it now 500mb or 1gb?)

http://www.neoseeker.com/news/21420-vita-firmware-update-20-lets-you-web-browse-while-you-game/

Sony's 2.0 firmware update for the Vita launches tomorrow (Wednesday in Europe), and with it comes a little discussed change Sony boss Shuhei Yoshida describes as "big": drastically improved web browsing.
Specifically, the browser will become a "small app", so you'll be able to use it while you play games, with no quitting required. The browsing itself will be faster, too.
Lastly, PlayStation Plus will launch alongside the update, which means "free" games for you, among other features.
woot.

Sony has confirmed that PlayStation Vita’s upcoming firmware 2.00 update will improve the handheld’s web browser functions.

Writing on Twitter, Shuhei Yoshida, head of Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios (SCE WWS), revealed that the update will allow gamers to switch to the browser without quitting their current game among other improvements.

One welcome change in tomorrow's PS Vita FW2.0 will be the web browser becomes a 'small app', you won't have to quit games to use it," said Yoshida-san.

"That's little talked about but is a big change, and the browsing itself is faster than the current one :)"
